Dive into a spectrum of creativity with “Out of the Blue,” a new art exhibit celebrating the depth, emotion, and versatility of the color blue. From turquoise tides to midnight moods, local artists explore blue’s power to convey identity, culture, nature, and abstraction. Featured 3D artist Gwynnie LaChance showcases whimsical stoneware creations with layered textures and a vintage feel.
The exhibit runs Sept. 18 through Nov. 3, at Art Center Morro Bay, 835 Main St., with an artist’s reception on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m.
